Vietnamese leaders in partner universities joined the EU training in VUB in Nov 2017

 

Three leaders from Vietnamese partner universities joined the EU training program from 21st November 2017 to December 2nd 2017 in VUB led by Prof Thomas Crispeels from BUTO (MOBI-VUB)

The delegation included mid-level staff members and leaders from three Vietnamese Universities (Hanoi University of Sciences and Technology, Hue University and Can Tho University) who are following a training programme on Knowledge and Technology Transfer at the VUB in the framework of VETEC 573788 project, Co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

First, the leaders focused on the workshop hold in Hue next year. After discussion, it was concluded that the title shoud be changed and some contents need to be revised, the participants also were predifined.

In company with this activity, visiting Fablab and ICAB Incubator were also parts of their work in VUB. There, they themselves saw the products made by VUB students, such as  3D-printers, step-climbing robot,… The leaders also got experiences and leant how to operate such a Fablab.

Discussing with IRMO (International Relationship and Mobility Office), some Vietnamese projects were mentioned, such as the project 911 of MOET (Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training), the Mekong Delta project as well as the programs of Erasmus in Belgium.
